Elaine Chambers was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon, and currently resides in Champagne, Yukon. She is a Citizen of the Champagne & Aishihik First Nation and of the Crow Clan. Over the past thirty -four years Elaine has been employed with däna Näye Ventures and since 1996 has been the General Manager.
Over the years, Elaine has been an active board member, chair, secretary, and treasurer of many organizations such as RAB Energy Group LP. (Northerm Windows & Doors), Kilrich Industries, the Dakwakada Capital Investments LLP. Presently, Elaine continues to sit on these organizations’ boards acting in difference capacities.
She represents the Yukon on National Boards as well. She was Secretary & Treasurer of the national Indigenous Organizations in community development CANDO. She also represented the Yukon from 1997 to 2015, on the National Aboriginal Capital Corporation Association (NACCA). She has served as Chair and Treasurer. In August 2020 she was reappointed back onto NACCA Board of Directors representing the North (Yukon, Northwest Territories & Nunavut) and is currently Secretary.
She is the proud mother of two grown children, Odessa and Tina and has 3 Grandchildren, Kael, Brielle, and Jayla.
Peter is very passionate about helping businesses flourish and understands the importance of supporting businesses succeed in the northern communities. Peter has extensive experience in the financial industry holding different managerial positions in Financial Institutions such as CIBC where he was the Community General Manager for the Yukon.
Peter has a Master of Science degree from the Robert Gordon University in Petroleum Engineering, and a financial planning certificate. Peter first moved to the north in 2018 working in Hay River, NWT, and moved to the Yukon in 2019. Peter enjoys cooking, spending time with family and going for long walks.
After a long career in banking in a multitude of positions ranging from a teller trainee to Branch Manager, Steve was not ready to retire, so he explored his options and discovered this opportunity at DNV.
Steve was raised in Mississauga, ON and has spent time in Calgary, AB; Castlegar, BC; Invermere, BC before settling in Whitehorse in 2008. Steve has called Whitehorse home ever since and has no plans of moving to a warmer winter climate.
Steve has 2 girls who were raised in Whitehorse and still call Whitehorse home. Both girls were lifeguards at the Canada Games Center through high school and their time at Yukon University and are pursuing careers in Whitehorse.
Steve has been an active member of the community serving as a Board Member for the Rotary Club of Whitehorse and the Mountain View Golf Course. In addition, Steve has helped raise thousands of dollars throughout the years for many non-profit organizations in Whitehorse.
During his spare time Steve loves to cook and has been a long-time fan of Formula 1 racing.
Preyush is our Financial Services Officer who helps entrepreneurs with business lending and business expansion. Preyush is very passionate about helping small business owners achieve their business goal.
Preyush came to Canada in 2015 as a student to study business finance.
Prior to joining däna Näye Ventures, Preyush has been working as an Associate Financial Advisor with CIBC.
Preyush moved to the Yukon in 2019 and has been enjoying the North.
On his free time Preyush loves going on long drives, cooking, hiking, and spending time with his friends.
Rosalie is our Financial Service Officer who is happy to help entrepreneurs with business lending and expansion. Helping with small business owners to reach their goals.
Rosalie is from Northwest Territories, Fort Simpson who is a proud member of Łíídlı̨ı̨ Kų̨́ę̨́ First nation where the Grand Chief is close family.
She moved to Hay River Northwest Territories where she started her career with the bank. Later she moved to Whitehorse Yukon in 2019 also working for the bank.
On her free time Rosalie enjoys long walks, writing, singing, and exploring the beautiful Yukon..
Loreta immigrated to Canada in October 2010. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by profession, she obtained her Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, major in Accounting in the Philippines.
Prior to joining däna Näye Ventures, Loreta held a a variety of occupations – bank accounting staff, business owner, cashier and bookkeeper. After joining our team in 2016 as an Accounting Officer, Loreta is now the Sr. Accounting Officer. She maintains an accurate recording of all däna Näye Ventures’ transactions. She understands that good accounting practices are key to a successful business.
Coming from a family of accountants, she is married with four adult children. She loves to spend quality time with her family. Cooking, gardening and watching movies are her hobbies. She also volunteers in her free time.

Lydia graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in accounting. Lydia has experience in banking with over 23 years in the industry holding various positions such as bookkeeper, teller, New Accounts/remittances Analyst, Checks processor and Branch Cashier.
Lydia moved to Canada in Jan 2020. She is married with three children and on her free time enjoys dancing, reading, cooking and hiking.
