Jasmine Roush, Owner
Mrs. Roush is a testament to the value of working hard to grow your business. The Coffee Shop started as a summer business for Mrs. Roush, who operated out of a small trailer. After successfully applying for DNV’s Micro Loan Program, she was able to secure a store front in downtown Whitehorse. This store front allowed Mrs. Roush to expand her offerings by selling food and products created by other local entrepreneurs. Only several months after securing her first store front, Mrs. Roush secured a partnership with Road Dogs Music Supply and Hamilton and Son Guitar Works which allowed The Coffee Shop to move into their established space down the block. Having all these businesses in one location has provided them with opportunities to grow their businesses. Congratulations to Jasmine for her strong work ethic and desire to grow through effective partnerships and collaborations!
“Jasmine is the embodiment of Yukon entrepreneurship. Seeing the outcomes of Jasmine’s micro loan projects has been amazing!”Aidan Sullivan, DNV Financial Service Officer.
