Elaine ChambersGeneral Manager
Elaine Chambers was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon, and currently resides in Champagne, Yukon. She is a Champagne & Aishihik First Nations Citizen and of the Crow Clan. Over the past thirty-two years, Elaine has been employed with däna Näye Ventures and since 1996 has been the General Manager.
Elaine believes in being involved in the betterment of our territory and our country. As the General Manager of dänä Näye Ventures, it is essential to know and understand what is happening in our community, our territory and our country from an economic standpoint.
Over the years, Elaine has been an active board member, chair, secretary and treasurer of many organisations such as the RAB Energy Group LP. (Northerm Windows & Doors), Kilrich Industries, the Dakwakada Capital Investments LLP. Presently, Elaine continues to sit on these organisations’ boards acting in different capacity.
She has represented the Yukon on national boards as well. She was Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer and is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of the national Indigenous Organisation in community development CANDO. She also represented the Yukon from 1997 to 2015, on the National Aboriginal Capital Corporation Association (NACCA). She served as Chair and Treasurer.
She is the proud mother of two grown children, Odessa and Tina and has 3 Grandchildren.
Donna MooreBusiness Support Services Manager
Donna has been working in the field of community economic development for over 20 years. Her work experience includes economic development work in all three Northern territories since 1999. In 2011, Donna joined the DNV team and currently oversees the Business Support Services Department.
In nearly 9 years of employment, she has been recognized by her colleagues and received company awards for “Team Builder”, “Excellent Client Services” “Professional Development” and most recently the “Irene Shorty Award”.
Within the Business Services Support Services Department, Donna is our lead business coach for client services; oversees the Entrepreneur and Business Development Program and is also our facilitator for our business workshops. She creates sound connections with all her clients and has received wonderful reviews of her coaching services and workshop facilitation.
Her work history, skill sets and commitment to assisting clients with their business needs have assisted däna Näye Ventures in their mandate of supporting and encouraging local entrepreneurs in achieving success in the business ventures.
Larissa FridfinnsonBusiness Support Officer
Larissa Fridfinnson is a business support officer who is passionate about helping Yukon entrepreneurs achieve success with their business and become economically self-sufficient. She is invested in facilitating business owners with attaining their goals through supportive services and solutions, and in assisting clients with the needs that may arise at any stage of their business.
Larissa has been living in Whitehorse since her move from Alberta in 2019. Outside of work, she enjoys fishing, ice fishing, hiking, camping and spending time with her family.
Logan FreeseManager, Financial Services
Logan Freese is a born and raised Yukon from Haines Junction. Since returning to the Yukon in 2003 after a short stint in Alberta, Logan has been working in the financial services field ranging from being a bank teller, a loans officer, a collections specialist, a loans accounting officer and now on to be the Manager for DNV’s lending services department.
Logan’s work experience gives him a great foundation to assist Yukon and Northern BC based entrepreneurs.
Logan is an avid sports fan and outdoorsman and participates in several recreational sports league as well as enjoying many outdoor activities.
Martin MeyerEntrepreneurship and Business Development Program Program Officer
Martin Meyer is an Entrepreneurship and Business Development Officer who helps First Nations entrepreneurs and businesses access funding to start, acquire or expand a business. Martin has assisted business clients of all types, from entrepreneurs who are just starting out to large companies and First Nations Development Corporations. Martin is passionate about helping businesses and his previous experience as a real estate appraiser, a small business owner and a banker allows him to understand business and help people achieve their business goals.
Martin has an International Business Degree from the University of Alberta where he specialized in Small Business and Entrepreneurship. He has been living and working in the Yukon for the last 13 years and says he will never leave. Away from work, he enjoys backcountry skiing and kiting, hunting, fishing, mountain biking and spending time in the wilderness with his friends and family.
Aidan SullivanFinancial Services Officer
Aidan Sullivan is a Financial Services Officer who helps all entrepreneurs with their financing needs. From start-up financing for new businesses to expansion capital for seasoned entrepreneurs. He provides financing solutions to his clients. Aidan is passionate about aiding Yukon entrepreneurs and seeing the territory grow.
Aidan has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Born and raised in the North, he has called Whitehorse home for nearly two decades. Outside of work, he is an avid reader and enjoys hiking, fishing, and cooking
Loreta TungolFinance & Administration
Loreta immigrated to Canada in October 2010. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by profession, she obtained her Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, major in Accounting in the Philippines.
Prior to joining däna Näye Ventures, Loreta held a a variety of occupations – bank accounting staff, business owner, cashier and bookkeeper. After joining our team in 2016 as an Accounting Officer, Loreta is now the Sr. Accounting Officer. She maintains an accurate recording of all däna Näye Ventures’ transactions. She understands that good accounting practices are key to a successful business.
Coming from a family of accountants, she is married with four adult children. She loves to spend quality time with her family. Cooking, gardening and watching movies are her hobbies. She also volunteers in her free time.

Jewel JunsayAdministrative Assistant Receptionist
Jewel was born in the Philippines and migrated to Yukon, Canada in 2011 through the Yukon Nominee Program.
With an accounting background in the Philippines, Jewel further her studies and graduated at Yukon College with an Office Administration – Accounting Clerk Certificate in 2017. Since her graduation, Jewel hase been part of the däna Näye Ventures team as our receptionist and accounting clerk.
On her spare time, Jewel likes to cook, participate in outdoor activities and loves to travel with her family. She’s a mother of two, Norjwell and Jewnwel.
